The Volunteer Center of North Texas wants to help you recruit more volunteers, so we've simplified our Volunteer Opportunity form. We hope this format gives you the chance to connect with more people, and more people translates into more volunteers for your agency! 

If you are a VolunteerSourcePlus member, your volunteer jobs will also be publicized in a variety of our media outlets which include: 

• Dallas Morning News and Al Dia – Our Lending a Hand column featuring volunteer opportunities in Dallas is in the Metro section of the Dallas Morning News every Monday. Al Dia, the Spanish language daily published by the Dallas Morning News, features our column every Tuesday.  The weekly value of the Lending a Hand column is $1600.
• Quick – a free weekday newspaper published by the Dallas Morning News that targets Dallas and Plano commuters, young families and 24-35 year olds. We have a full-page ad with color and graphics monthly. You can go to their web site to download the publication at www.dfwquick.com. Agencies that have been listed in Quick have had a phenomenal response from volunteers. The weekly value of this page is $2875.
• *Fort Worth Star-Telegram –Our Volunteer Opportunities column runs every Sunday in their online edition and is valued at $1400 per week.
• NBC 5 TV – the Volunteer Center has partnered with Channel 5 to list our volunteer opportunities on the Community page of their web site. The value of this web page is $10,000 per month and our page averages 61,000 page views per month.http://www.nbc5i.com/community/3367630/detail.html
• *KVIL FM Radio – we’re listing weekly volunteer opportunities on their web site.http://www.kvil.com/volunteer.shtml. On a monthly basis, this page is worth $500 per month and our page on the KVIL site receives several thousand visitors each month.
• *KRLD AM News Radio – Announcers do live Monday – Friday public service announcements three times a day publicizing our volunteer opportunities. The information is also posted on the KRLD web site for two weeks at www.krld.com. KRLD’s web site has over 80,000 page views per month. The ad value for this page is $3750 per week for the on-air public service announcements and listing your volunteer opportunity on the KRLD web site.
• E-news – Our email newsletter goes to more than 4200 dedicated volunteers.
• volunteernorthtexas.org  – Our web site offers over 200,000 hits a month with updated information on volunteer jobs in Dallas, Collin and Tarrant counties.  

If you wanted to advertise one of your agency’s volunteer jobs at each of these media outlets for one week, you could expect to spend over $2500.
