HOW TO VOLUNTEER 

STEP 1:  Discover The Possibilities
Here are four ways to learn about thousands of volunteer jobs:

• Select Volunteer Jobs from the menu for a complete listing of available organizations, volunteer jobs and causes. You’ll also find some helpful tips on things to consider when volunteering.
• Select Volunteer E-News from the Volunteers menu to find current opportunities and events happening now if you’re ready to jump in right away.
• Select the Volunteer Events Calendar icon for a listing of upcoming special events around the community such as walk-a-thons, golf tournaments, children’s festivals and 5K races.
• Select Hands On North Texas from the Programs menu to register online for HOT service projects in the North Texas community.

STEP 2:  Get Connected
Find a volunteer job that interests you? 

• Then call or email the contact person at that nonprofit organization to learn more about it.  
• Overwhelmed by all the choices?  Contact the Volunteer Center at 1-866-797-8268 or email us at vcnorthtexas@volunteernorthtexas.org.
