The Volunteer Center of North Texas helps companies achieve their community relations and corporate social responsibility goals, all while providing the tools needed to place volunteers and resources in the community to address ongoing needs.
Corporate Partners
A multi-tiered approach to good corporate citizenship that allows companies to support the work of the Volunteer Center while enhancing their efforts and position in the community in support of more than 1,655 nonprofit agencies.
Hands At Work* Corporate Employee Projects
Employees can engage in teambuilding and add to their skill sets and competencies, connect to communities, develop ties with nonprofits, establish an emotional connection to those in need, and become good social responsibility ambassadors of your company.
Employee Disaster Training Program
VCNT can teach companies and their employees to be prepared for an emergency or catastrophic disaster as well as allow them to sign up to be ready for a call to action.
Team Building Training
Working together across departments can impact your bottom line in a positive way and contribute to the overall success of the organization. VCNT can help with team building opportunities and sessions.
Project Leader Training
Employees learn how to work with a nonprofit agency, lead community projects, develop and demonstrate leadership skills, practice good logistical planning, create project budgets, and more.
Special Events
The Hearts of Texas Awards Luncheon is the annual fundraising event for the Volunteer Center to help raise funds to enable support of more than 1,655 nonprofit agencies in North Texas.
Lone Star Salute! celebrates volunteerism at the grass-roots level in three counties. Nonprofit agencies nominate their volunteer(s) for their community efforts and contributions to help move the mission of their agency forward.
The North Texas Volunteer Challenge is a four-hour day of community service that brings more than 400 volunteers together to lend a helping hand to more than 30 nonprofit service projects in North Texas to help give communities hope!

Corporate Forums and workshops provide an opportunity for businesses to share ideas that benefit both employees and management.
