Hearts of Texas Awards Luncheon
This event recognizes outstanding community volunteerism in three categories:
- Lifetime of Service Award for an individual
- Corporate Service Award for outstanding corporate social responsibility
- Student Service Award for developing a spirit of engagement with students
The event takes place each February and promotes volunteerism and raises operating funds.
Lone Star Salute!
The Lone Star Salute! celebrates volunteerism by honoring those who volunteer in our local nonprofit organizations. This event is conducted in three counties and provides an outstanding opportunity to recognize grass-roots volunteerism and supports the Volunteer Center.
North Texas Volunteer Challenge
The North Texas Volunteer Challenge (NTVC) is a four-hour day of service held once a year that mobilizes individual volunteers, employees, individuals, families, students, and civic groups to partner with the Volunteer Center. NTVC can help you “lend a helping hand” to many nonprofit organizations and service projects throughout North Texas!
Teen Events
VCNT sponsors a teen event in each county that enables high school students to better understand not only their responsibility but also the fun they can have as they learn to give back to their community through volunteerism.
