Volunteer Recognition Events: Lone Star Salute!
The Lone Star Salute! Breakfast celebrates volunteerism by honoring those who
volunteer in local nonprofit organizations. This event provides an outstanding
opportunity to recognize grass-roots volunteerism and support the Volunteer Center
of North Texas.
Nonprofit agencies nominate their volunteer(s) for their community efforts and
contributions to help move the mission of their agency forward. This event offers
corporations an opportunity to meet nonprofits in their county while offering
nonprofit staff and volunteers an opportunity to thank those who invest in their
communities – businesses and corporations and other organizations.
A separate Lone Star Salute! is held in Collin, Dallas and Tarrant counties. For
