The Dallas County Lone Star Salute! Breakfast was held November 7, 2008 at Eddie Deen's Ranch.
Former NBC5 Sportscaster, Scott Murray was the guest speaker who entertained attendees
with his topic on volunteerism and real-life experiences as a volunteer. Fifty volunteers
were presented with special certificates and volunteer service pins to acknowledge their
contributions in community service.
