The Volunteer Center of North Texas is proud to partner with the City of Dallas and Keep Dallas Beautiful in a groundbreaking initiative called Pride In Your Neighborhood (PYN). PYN, a grassroots beautification program, is designed to educate constituents on how to create and sustain an aesthetically attractive neighborhood.
The goal of the program is to help cultivate community pride in seven (7) neighborhoods: Arcadia Park, Arlington Park, Beverly Hills, Cedar Oaks, Dixon Circle, Fordham Road and Singing Hills.
This initiative will:
Reduce litter and graffiti
Attract new stakeholders
Establish stronger lines of communication between citizens and City of Dallas service providers
Through neighborhood clean-ups and beautification events as well as leadership and environmental education, this program will help Dallas residents reclaim and restore the pride we all have in the place we live.
